How many pounds of thrust did you generate?

Awesomeness.

always thought it odd that such a rear mounted jet could let it hover, my mental physics calculator has it doing wild loops with a rear mounted engine pointed downwards

It does have a mid-mounted fan to even things out.

I wish I was your wingman cause I could use some mexican food.

It has a vertical fan driven off of the turbine.

right yes, but it seems much like the jet would overpower the fan. Its just straight witchcraft I say!

How much can porcelain withstand? Just below that.

Something tells me that's the the type of jet Japan will order next, it fits it's new "flat top destroyer".

Around 38,000 lbs-Thrust

Why do you say that? You don't think they have thrust control to the rear jet in vertical mode?
I'll bet the entire sequence is automated, including engine power.

I'm not arguing that it doesn't work, just that it's a marvel beyond my ken

park two of these end to end and what do you have?

The Japanese are clever, but that's madness, really.

it all depends on engineering. it could be done if the connection between the two was designed properly.
